I was 13.. maybe 12..when it started...
Well a silly shampoo commercial made me realize that people with dandruff have weak hair.. so I had till feeling I did had dandruff and pulled my hair.
After compulsive brushing I came across a fallen hair .. it was different had a different texture, the root.. was different.
and I wanted to find that special type of hair again...
Hence the hair pulling.
It was very late my parents realized that year that i had a bald patch on the back of my head. i was scolded and my pulling habit labelled a 'phase'.
It dint stop.. although the damage was less.. really small patch.. but over the years it has taken the shape of a crescent moon with blobs on it on the well... slightly back of my scalp.
Yes its ugly.. but i needed a wakeup call..The more aware I am about it..coping would be better.
